Seasonal Touring Pitches in the Lake District(9+3)

Our exclusive seasonal touring pitches are located on the South Westerly area of the park, come in various sizes and are typically 1300 square foot, big enough for most touring caravans or motorhomes.

The pitches all have modern electric hook up points (currently smart meters), there’s two modern toilet blocks within a 5 minute walk if needed. Lowther seasonal touring pitches are 12 months tenancy. This means 9 months holiday season and 3 months winter storage (where your caravan stays on your pitch).

Our holiday season is 1st March through to 30th November, with 1st Dec to 28th Feb winter storage, which is included in your pitch fee.

Lowther Holiday Park is predominately luxury lodges and holiday homes. We have a limited number of exclusive seasonal touring pitches, along with a small accessible touring caravan and camping field.

On site there is a lovely family run bar, a fully stocked Mini Market, which also supplies essential camping equipment and gas.

The park has a some fantastic attractions close by including a quiet and relaxing river and woodland walk to Lowther castle, which is just next door.

Our seasonal touring pitches in Cumbria benefit from being surrounded by beautiful locations; Penrith, the historic market town and castle, along with Beacon fell, Ullswater, Haweswater, Askam and Pooley Bridge. We are just a mile and half from the A66, which gives you quick and easy access to both the Lake District and also Yorkshire Dales, as well Hexham, Barnard Castle and beyond!
