The park is classified as a 5 star rated campsite from the British Graded Holiday Parks, has a 5 pennants AA rating and holds the David Bellamy Gold Award. Lowther is also a member of the BH & HPA and The Penrith & District Red Squirrel Group.

Included in a standard nightly pitch:
- 6 m x 8 m pitch size
- Four people per pitch

Lowther Holiday Park is set in 50 acres of beautiful natural woodland and riverbank surroundings. The lush green surroundings are breath-taking and the air quality on the banks of the River Lowther and River Eamont will help you enjoy the clean, country fresh air.
Our grounds have a choice of sheltered spots and bright open outlooks.
Bring your pets plus extras
Our park is pet friendly, so the dog can come along too, but please no more than 2 dogs per pitch.
Pup tents and second cars will be charged as extras – full details will appear within the booking system.
Bookings
We do recommend you to book early at Lowther Holiday Park, particularly over Bank Holidays, the School Holidays and the Bonfire weekend. We take all major credit and debit cards, and your full balance is not due until 42 days before you arrive.
Seasonal Touring
If you’re looking for a more permanent base for lots of Lake District adventures, then our seasonal touring pitches enable you to visit as much as you want without having to tow every time.
1st March – 30th November is the open or holiday season, while 1st Dec to 28th Feb is the closed season, and winter storage for your caravan or motorhome throughout this time is included in the seasonal pitch fee. Your caravan will stay on the same pitch for the full 12 months.
